1. FCEC and Cancer Support

This October, FCEC and Hope Connections for Cancer Support will offer two events focused on cancer awareness, health education, and community resources.

• Breast Cancer Zoom Presentation — Saturday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m. Join us virtually for a presentation featuring Dr. Wen Liam of the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.
• Annual Health Fair — Saturday, October 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Visit Hope Connections for Cancer Support at Tanger Outlets to connect with local health care providers and community organizations.

2. 2026 Annual Church Conference

St. Paul UMC will join other churches in our Hub on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. for the Annual Church Conference.

Location: Oxon Hill United Methodist Church, 6400 Livingston Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745.

All members are welcome and encouraged to attend as we gather in fellowship and participate in the life and work of our church.

3.     IGNITE 2027 — Calling All Youth!

IGNITE 2027, our conference-wide youth retreat, will take place January 22–24, 2027, in Ocean City, Maryland!

Interested youth and prospective adult chaperones should contact Sis. Cari Adams or Bro. Kenny Tue to express interest and reserve a spot. Don't miss this opportunity to grow in faith, build friendships, and make lasting memories!

4.     Celebrating 235 Years of St. Paul UMC!

Join us on Sunday, October 25, 2026, for Homecoming Sunday as we celebrate St. Paul UMC's 235th Anniversary! Invite former members, family, friends, and neighbors to share in this special worship celebration.

5. For Men Only: Men's Health Connection Luncheon

Men, join Grace UMC, FCEC, and Hope Connections for Cancer Support for the Men's Health Connection Luncheon on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Grace UMC.

Guest speaker Dr. James Dula of Prince George's County Veterans Affairs will share valuable information about health and community resources.
