1. VBS Mission Moment: “Take a Brick Off Our Jericho Jubilee Wall!”

There’s still time to participate in our VBS 2026 Mission Moment: “Take a Brick Off Our Jericho Jubilee Wall!”

Every gift matters! Whether you give coins or dollars, by check or electronically, your generosity helps us reach our goal and supports the care and ministry of the house where God’s people worship, serve, fellowship, and grow in faith.

Every brick counts. Every gift matters! The last day to give is, Sunday, August 30, 2026.

2. Sit, Sing, Share

Pastor Love invites his beloved siblings in Christ to gather each Wednesday in September from 6:30–7:15 p.m. around the TCRC tree and flower bed for fellowship, worship, and encouragement.

Bring your lawn chair, hymnal, Bible, or electronic device, and join your church family as we worship, encourage one another, and share Christ’s love with our community.

This fellowship will be held September 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30. Come, sit with us, sing with us, and share in the love of Christ!

3. Prostate Cancer Education

Would you like to learn more about prostate cancer and available community resources and support? Join the Faith-Based Cancer Education Consortium (FCEC) and Hope Connections for Cancer Support for an informative Zoom presentation on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Featured speaker Dr. James Dula will share information on cancer-related topics. This event is open to everyone. Registration information is available in the eBlast. For more information, contact Min. Deborah Johnson.

4. Men's Day 2026

St. Paul UMC will celebrate Men’s Day 2026 on Sunday, September 20, during our 10:30 a.m. worship experience. Our guest preacher will be Stellar Award-winning artist, Dove Award nominee, and 2025 Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee Rev. Stephen A. Hurd, of First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

We will also have an opportunity for sacrificial giving in support of St. Paul’s ministry and mission. Men are asked to give $100, and women are asked to give $50.

A Men’s Day Choir will be featured, and all men are invited to lend their voices! Men’s Day Choir Rehearsals are being held Thursday, September 3 at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m.
