1. Bible Basics Class

The Bible Basics: In the Beginning class has resumed and meets every Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the Small Chapel. 

Facilitated by Brother Kevin West, this enriching class explores God's master plan for His creation, beginning in the Book of Genesis and building a strong biblical foundation for everyday living.

Whether you are new to studying the Bible or seeking to deepen your understanding of God's Word, we invite you to join us each Sunday as we grow together in faith, wisdom, and spiritual understanding.

2. August Ministry Schedule Update

Please note that the following ministries will not meet during the month of August 2026 as they observe a summer break:

• History and Records Ministry
• United Women in Faith
• Memory Café

We look forward to welcoming everyone back in September, when each ministry will resume meeting at its regularly scheduled day and time.

3. National Night Out – Tuesday, August 4, 2026

Join us as St. Paul United Methodist Church participates in National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Southern Regional Technology and Recreation Center, 7007 Bock Road, Fort Washington, Maryland.

This community-wide event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our neighbors and share the love of Christ. St. Paul is seeking committed disciples to serve at our church information table by greeting visitors, answering questions, and sharing the good news about our church family and ministries.

If you are willing to serve, please see Minister Deborah Johnson or leave your name with the church office no later than Thursday, July 30.

We encourage everyone to come out, serve, and support this exciting community event.

4. TNT Enters a Season of Selah

Following the TNT Prayer Call on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 10:00 p.m., Pastor Tony Love will enter a brief Season of Selah—a time of rest, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

During this time, the TNT Prayer Call will pause throughout the month of August and will resume on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 10:00 p.m.

We thank God for Pastor Love's faithful leadership and look forward to gathering once again in prayer as he returns refreshed, renewed, and revived for continued ministry.

5. Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway – Saturday, August 15, 2026 

St. Paul United Methodist Church's annual Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Help us prepare students for a successful school year by donating new school supplies or making a monetary contribution. Donations may be placed in the yellow school bus located at the church. For additional information, contact Sis. Norceia Daughtridge, Chair of Risk Taking Mission and Service.
