1. Children's Sunday
St. Paul will joyfully celebrate Children’s Sunday on Sunday, June 14, 2026, during our 10:30 a.m. worship experience. This special service honors and uplifts the children of our congregation and community while celebrating the gifts, talents, and promise they bring to the church.
We are delighted that Cameron and Caden Adams will join Pastor Love as worship leaders in what promises to be an inspiring and memorable experience. Parents, grandparents, family members, and friends are encouraged to invite and bring children as we celebrate the bright future God has entrusted to us.
2. Vacation Bible School 2026
Vacation Bible School 2026 begins on July 19, 2026, under the exciting theme, "Illumination Station." Led by Sis. Lauren Jenkins, this year’s VBS will be a vibrant journey of faith, fellowship, music, learning, and fun for all ages.
Participants will be encouraged to let the light of Christ shine brightly in their daily lives while enjoying a Spirit-filled summer adventure.
The first VBS planning meeting will be held today, June 7, immediately following morning worship. Everyone interested in volunteering or supporting this impactful ministry is encouraged to attend. Be sure to watch the eBlast and the St. Paul website for updates as we prepare for an unforgettable VBS experience.
3. Father's Day 2026
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, the St. Paul family will gather in a spirit of love and gratitude to honor fathers, grandfathers, and the many father figures who have helped shape and guide our lives.
To help create a meaningful tribute, we invite you to share a framed photograph of a special father figure in your life. These cherished images will become part of a heartfelt display celebrating the faith, strength, wisdom, and enduring love of the men who have blessed our lives.
Please bring a framed photo (5x7 or 8x10) with a stand or supporting easel to the church during the following times:
• Tuesday, June 16, through Thursday, June 18, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
• Or Sunday, June 21, before 10:00 a.m.
Together, these photographs will serve as a touching reminder of the lasting impact fathers and father figures have on our families, church, and community.
4. Explore Our Church History
The History and Records Committee will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. We warmly welcome anyone who enjoys church history and would like to help preserve, share, and celebrate the rich legacy of St. Paul.
Whether you are a longtime member or new to the congregation, your ideas, energy, and enthusiasm are needed as we continue this important ministry. Mark your calendar and plan to join us.
5. Prince George's County Memorial Lynching Project
During our upcoming Express Sunday—60 Minutes of Praise, Worship, and Word, the History and Records Committee invites you to a special presentation on the Prince George’s County Memorial Lynching Project.
Come learn about recent developments, new discoveries, and future initiatives of this important effort to honor the lives of those who suffered racial terror lynching and to support truth, remembrance, and healing within our community. You will also learn how you can become involved in this meaningful work as we seek to acknowledge the past and help build a more just future.
